I was a student of Mrs Booth during my time at WGS and particularly during A levels. I always found her to be a great teacher, and she was always very approachable, and helpful. I was one of 2 students who did 'Further Maths' A-Level, and the only one who passed this (got 4 grade As from 5 A-levels in 1997) She is an asset to WGS; I am now a consultant Dr, and my maths knowledge amazes other Drs often! A highly recommended teacher; she can think in and outside the box, and is a kind person too.
In terms of teaching, often became confused when questions were asked. Didn't cover the source material very thoroughly, so that we had to "fill in the blanks" in preparation for the actual exam. Mostly quite friendly, though seemed to dislike some students irrationally. Which is ironic because I'm not sure she understands irrational numbers.
What's with all the bad reviews? I thought she was a good teacher!
