12 years on from leaving PGS, Mr Franklin remains strongly in my memory. What a guy. Fantastic teacher who inspired my ongoing love of history and politics. I probably wouldn't have passed without him. Related to us all as actual real people, wicked sense of humour, frankly intimidating facial hair. Frankie, if you're out there, sorry for all the jokes and the giggling in class, but you're the best teacher I ever had.
Came back to Parkstone to be our tour guide on Battlefields 2015. Such a knowledgeable man, really sweet, and though we only spent four days with him, I miss him already!
Best teacher, so sad he had to leave but happy to have had a chance to learn a tiny chunk of his endless knowledge
The most amazing politics/citizenship teacher! his lessons are so interesting and he is such a good teacher
Mr Franklin is honest and always treats us as real people, not just as essay writing machines who MUST GET As! He controls a class with a word, and gives out the exact amount of respect as he recieves
A Legend, brilliant teacher even if his booming voice is a little intimidating!
fabulous teacher and just cares about everyone but can b a little scary with his booming voice
Brilltastic. A genuinely talented teacher who actually cared about the pupils he taught.
