I was in his history class the first year he and Mrs McKinnon joined BHS 26 years ago. Hes still the very best teacher I ever had. Lots of laughs but he was brilliant at teaching us how to write and think analytically....great for my subsequent legal career!
I left BHS in 2003, and am so thankful to Mr Brasier. Without his inspirational teaching and encouragement I never would've ended up where I am today!
Goes out of his way to help students if you ask him. Really friendly and clearly passionate about his subject. His only downfall is homework - he goes mad if you hand it in late.
I lett BHS 12 years ago and have to agree with you all! I would NEVER have got an A without him! (and Mrs Mckinnon who lay the foundations previously). Top teacher and top guy!
I left BHS 5 years ago. I've read and agree with all the comments on Mr. Brasier, he was/is a fantastic teacher. Thanks for my GCSE, thanks for my A Level - I'd never have got them without Mr. B.
The best teacher I've ever had in the school. I wish they were all like him. History comes alive in his lessons.
I reckon he is the best teacher in the school and about half of my class agree. Very fair, when he tells you off you know you deserve it. He has all of our respect.
Without a doubt one of the best, if not THE best, teacher in the school. He brings the subject to life.
Great guy - if you buckle down he'll treat you well - has no time for slackers. I'm 27 and he's still the best teacher I ever had.
He's a good teacher.. I don't like how he can be a bit blunt about his comments about homework infront of the whole class though..
