Ridiculously clever (generally, not just a for economics) and great banter. Huge help in sticking to the syllabus and showing us exam technique. Incredibly upset when he told us he was leaving. Anyone who has him is incredibly lucky.
Mr. Mahajan will always be one of my favourite teachers. At MHCHS, he introduced Economics (GCSE 2015) in such a fascinating way that I got a wholesome picture of the world of economics. He focuses a lot on markschemes, exam tactics and textbook content, while also improving a student's wider knowledge of the economy. He is not even just a strictly academic teacher. He is flexible, developing our debate skills will an inclusion of 'banter' too. Missing him a lot, and I hope he is doing well.
I enjoy his take on economics. Economics is not just about graphs and equations, its about how the world works, whether its in banking, politics or whatever. Worth turning up for those nuggets of wisdom!
Brilliant teacher. Doesn't mind the odd bit of banter around the class room.
Mahajan should publish his notes. Awesome.
He didn't really make much sense and covered the syllabus in bullet points and powerpoint presentations. Had him for a year and ended up with a mediocre grade.
Funny and great teacher. Talks about food too much. All of his economics examples use food. He said that the monetary policy committee are not brave enough to put up interest rates because they don't eat enough hot curry.
A joker but a great teacher. He refuses to rap for us, but at least he will teach us how to trade stocks the way he does it.
a good all rounded teacher able to get on with students in most situations. he is patient and tries to explain things.
I just got my results and got the grade I wanted using Mahajan's exam tricks.
haha he spent a year teaching the syllabus bullet points... that doesnt qualify him as a teacher of any sort! ridiculous
Quite strict and usually (but not always) fair. Pushes us hard, because he doesnt like normal A grades. He prefers 90s and 120s.
mahajan knows dem mark skemes off by heart, its funny to watch him actually make the exam board's mark schems better than the real ones. but he'z to strict!! he gets a 5 for cool cos he can rap.
He acted all macho but he was a caring teacher underneath the toughness. He made economics real by always talking about how we could use it after uni. Half of us are now doing econ degrees.
he started off being really strict and I didn't like him in the first year but in the 2nd year he was really cool. mahajan's exam training was wicked.
absolute legend! have had him for the past 2 years, and he has made my time at mill hill enojyable! at first it was difficult to understand him, but after 2 years i can honestly say - he is a legend!
