You either like him or you don't, likewise to his view on you. Luckily for me I didn't mind him that much. It's true, as long as you do what is asked for you will be fine. In that sense he is a fair teacher but is known for his harsh sanctions so stay cautious.
I was at Trinity in the eighties, when he was a freshman. He was either for you or against you. You either loved him or hated him. He was cool with me, so I absolutely loved him!
He is not a bad teacher but is not very clear (mostly about if we should do a set homework) and can be quite unfair (strict)
He's a lot of fun and I've found that the only people not to like him are the ones that try to be smarter than him. To get along with him all you need to do is what he asks. No more, no less.
This guy is amazing. He got GCSE on Time-table by teaching in his own time and on Sundays. Rumour has it he did it for free, and all the kids got Grade A. Brilliant teacher, hope I get him for GCSE
