He's good and enthusiastic about the subject but he was a bit...poncy. He is quite opinionated in everything even in topics that he is ill informed on. He also showed a dislike to those who wanted to go into sciences when he should realised that not all of us want to do linguistics and some of us want to do something useful with our lives.
Pretty funny and a great linguist and form tutor. However, I'm bilingual and he rarely gives me extra work, then gets annoyed if I do nothing/something else. Sort of expect more because he's head of languages. Recently I've come out of French bored out of my mind and feeling like I've been sedated because I just don't really need to be there. He's chill which is nice, but is sometimes quite judgemental and sends out conflicting messages.
love himmmm! he always cares and listens to what we have to say, tries to get us to do things outside of school beyond schoolwork (always telling us to go to southbank!) and he's pretty relaxed. if you don't understand, he explains. and he really does want us to love languages and different cultures! one of the only teachers to try to make sure we dont become consumed by school...
He is generally quite a good teacher but is sometimes just a tiny bit confusing.
quite good teaching methods- but i dont like the way he tells each of us comments about our essays in front of the whole class
he so sweet. bless him he tries soo hard to make everyone happy... better than not trying at all.
Lovely teacher. Fun and friendly. Really tries hard to improve the quality of the teaching, and make the department better, e.g. the first languages play - Moliere, fantastic!
he is actually a pretty good teacher. better than some i can think of...
This guy really teaches. It just really sucks that the curriculum doesn't push us... come on, I swear we ought to learn the German Genitive Case by KS4? Atrocious. Not his fault, mind.
He's very helpful and approachable. [and he'sgorgeous!]
