He is an a person who I would see as a buzzkill. He cares more about the school then he does the student. His answers are very straightforward, which can be good in some instances but can be annoying when you are looking for a full explanation. I think he needs to come to earth and relate with his students. I think the school would be better with a femal headteacher because we are all female and she can relate to us. :(
not very approachable, kind of intimidating to some people, and tea and cakes with the head doesn't sound very rewarding, more like taking the mick.
Stand of fish and not helpful. Very intimidating and not especially approachable.
I like him he's okay we're quite good friends dont see why people are scrared of him it just amuses me!!!
He is ok but cares a lot more about the school than the students.
He is firm but fair however sometimes he cares more about the school than us...
all he cares about is the schools appearance, he doesn't care about the students at all. He charges loads of money for really bad quality food and school uniform.
His obsession with the superficial appearance of the school can cloud the fact that he has had the initiative to bring the school into the 21st Century. His shifty demeanour and discomfort in public situations do nothing for his image, and his intensive focus on small details (such as the fish tank and the uniform) can sometimes cause him to lose focus on the bigger picture. Instead of making WHSG like other schools, he should captitalise on the differences that make it special.
Admitidly he does do some things that have people wondering what the point is (Such as the fish tank incident described below). however, they are usually with good intentions. He is never going to please everyone as a headteacher but he does try and always seems genuinely interested in his students and their achivements both academic and non academic.
paul cares more about the students than any other head teacher. his door is always open and he makes an effort to know people and ask about their family etc.
He never seems to do whats best for the school. He thinks most about his own reputation than education. I have never liked him.
He's doing a fairly good job as a headteacher, and he teaches science quite well too.
