Wish she taught me languages from year 7 rather than just the GCSE years. Went from being the class dunce to, well, being able to speak French with confidence. Ended up being one of my best exams. Biggest regret is not taking her up on the chance to learn Russian. Too lazy to give up my lunch breaks at the time. No nonsense teacher and gets the job done as well as any teacher can. Spasiba, Mrs Jayne. Hope you're enjoying retirement.
Can be a bit tough, but really knowledgeable, really helpful and really nice person, as long as you're prepared to do the work and don't try to cheat!
One of the best teachers I have ever had.
Miss Jayne with her Kalashnikov...brilliant memories of a short time spent being taught by her. She's a good laugh and a lovely lady once you get to know her, but her reputation precedes her and often people take a dislike to her from what they've heard. It is true that if you get on her bad side then she can be mean, but I got on well with her and I ended up in a good position for the start of GCSE German.
Mrs Jayne is an interesting subject, although the same cannot be said for what she teaches. She has a vast knowledge of multiple languages and the lessons are filled with a few laughs and a few tears. I think she is a fairly good teacher but can sometimes be too strict.
The single best teacher I have ever had. Taught my 3 subjects, I got top grades in all. Dragged me through "by my ears ah". Truly a greate teacher!
I think she's BRILLIANT! Very strict, but she finds ways to make learning languages easier and as long as you do your work she wont bother you. Fair enough really? She's there to help. Good teacher :)
She's a pretty bad teacher, but she has an awesome personality (I.E: On school trips)
Very good at languages, very dry Russian sense of humour
She's ok, her classes are fun compared to some of the other teachers
Wooo yea she's alright!! nothing wrong with her its all the lazy people that cant be bothered to work (i'm getting there lol)
