Red eyed alkie, probably does ket before each lesson, so happy he's retired. Somewhere he still has our books and hasn't returned them... All in all great man and an inspiration to all
Fantastic teacher. Helpful, really knows his stuff, engaging, funny.
This man is literally a God among men and if you get him as a teacher feel lucky as you will have no better learning experience in your entire life. Also ask him about the picture of the man rowing a bridge.
Love Mr Murphy's lesson he is a great actor and can pretend to be weird. After a few years when you are used to this you can have such a laugh with him.
lad but when he walks out of the class and comes back in he seems to change .....
A great teacher but completely unpredictable
Solid house parent, good for chats, bad to be on the wrong side of, but luckily I never was for too long. Thanks a bunch
Admittedly he's a bit scary at first but you warm to him! He's a brilliant teacher and is very respected; he'll always try to bring out your full potential and help you feel more confident.
awesome plain awesome - but sometimes a bit o.t.t nevertheless, his lessons are always fun !
He made English a memorable experience & his passionate readings of DH Lawrence with his irish accent certainly brought our lessons to life! A great teacher & somone you could talk to about anything.
made english fun. Sometimes scarily unpredictable but everyone always looked forward to his lessons
Mr Murphy was the most amazing teacher and house master. it is because of him that i am now a succesful teacher. I was one of his first upper Sixth at netherton, Simon Braithwaite
