Can seem quite harsh when you're in the younger years, but has lots of banter when you get into Sixth Form

Always wants to pick one pupils doing the smallest things. Mean and despicable. Always patrols school with his notebook and loves giving you detentions.

You can tell he knows what he's talking about, he always can control the class. Just wish he didn't tell me to get my haircut every now and then.

Ok, I am not one of the so called "Students who want an easy ride at school" but I do agree with some of the things said. He is always around when there is trouble, and his stare is somehow intimidating. If you do the slightest thing wrong, you can be sure he will tell you off. I once pulled out my iPod to check the time an he was right behind me. But despite that, he is somewhat a decent guy. He can have a normal(ish) chat with you, especially if you don't have a bad reputation.

Patrolled the school like Severus Snape seemingly deliberately ruling by intimidation and with a diminished capacity or willingness to listen.

Very strict, and doesn't suffer fools at all, but if you did the work, and listened to him, he forced you to think. Wish I'd figured that out at school. Didn't really like him much then...
