Absolute don, what a lad
Funny guy with some classic quotes... he obviously puts alot of effort into his teaching and lessons but he could make them more exciting at times
Possibly the funniest man ever (laughing at rather than with), but a good teacher and someone who knows what schoolboys are going through. Knows his stuff, nice guy, hilarious lessons.
i do like him as a man, as can be very helpful when you ask for help, for example with oxford essays and he'll bend over backwards to make sure you do well in your university application. in class though, he doesn't always stick to the topics and can be unreliable when it comes to marking. and his rants are depressing, especially when they last a whole double. and he always pulls the most ridiculous faces. much more interesting than broughy (but who isn't to be honest).
Very knowledgable bloke and a good, fun (usually) teacher. However, has a tendency to enter rant mode, which can sometimes last a double lesson, at the end of which he admits "this will have no effect on you whatsoever", wasting an hour and twenty mins in which we could have been copying down poorly punctuated powerpoint presentations.
Very good teacher. Sometimes wonders from the point and goes into a legendary Dawes rant. Very funny though, and comes up with some hilarious quotes.
Very good economist. Sometimes harsh and usually fair. Knows his stuff and is obviously still in touch with his inner child.
Don't mess with The Dawes, and The Dawes won't mess with you. Knows his stuff, likes a bit of banter, overall legend. Good form tutor aswell; fun times.
DAWESEY aka "The Coach"... in essence dawesey is one of the lads, loves the palace, loves the beer, loves the kuznets curve
