Mrs Payne was the best teacher I ever had. She is highly intelligent and has so much knowledge on all the topics we covered. She has many anecdotes about the Cold War, which we studied, which made the classes very entertaining. I feel incredibly grateful to have been taught by her and so sad that she's left.
So nice, really good teacher. I'm really sad that she left
Mrs Payne is hands down the best history teacher I have ever had. I have enjoyed her lesson so much more this and my marks have also improved alot. She often includes stories in her lessons (and puts on funny accents) which make learning history all the more enjoyable. Mrs Payne sparked a genuine in history for me. So so sad that she has retired and know that this subject won't be as fun for me next year.
the most inspirational teacher i ever had
I used to hate history until I had Mrs Payne as my teacher (this could be due to her style of teaching or the period of history she taught me though). I always made really good and helpful, detailed notes in her lessons and you can tell she knows a lot about the subject. I personally really liked her most of the time, although she could get very angry (which I experienced several times). Quite scary sometimes but nice if you do your work. Overall I really liked her and enjoyed her lessons.
Although loved by some, she tends to ramble about personal experiences that are entirely unrelated. Seems to try to intimidate students and it is often difficult to learn and take notes if you're not suited to an auditory learning style. Doesn't always finish her explanations, leaving me confused.
