One of my favourite teachers by far
Spends a lot of time talking about black history and world affairs but not loads on the actual English. Also I now feel a part of his family as he's spoken about them so much (even his sons breakup). He's great though and you do no work so you've got to love him
There are no words suitable to describe this teacher, his lessons are enjoyable, as well as informative, the reason I managed to achieve the best grades was because of him. I really respect him, he helps develop you into a student if you are willing to listen. His point of view is most of the time, very insightful as well as logical, although he does tend to digress a bit, but he always gets everyone involved and, may seem strict, but is really just a facade, because he is one of the nicest!
I love his lessons and the discussions we have in them, his analysis of texts and the way he guides us through and allows us to make our own opinions makes him my favourite teacher.
He's strict when he needs to be especially to those who just piss about but to others he is just a good teacher.
I found Mr Henry to be the most lazy unprepared teacher I have ever had. I love English but he would turn up every week for an entire term and made us read the same play...so dull and uninformative
John Henry is pretty much the reason I find myself at university....I never had him in main school but the way it always seemed to me was that he was strict and scary to y7-11, and your best mate duri
Mr Henry was the best teacher I ever had. A true inspiration.
OK teacher....stressy...thinks hes funny but he's not!!
Slightly gruff and didn't tolerate fools (like me ;-) ) but a fair and helpful guy. One of the better teachers there, without a doubt.
I couldn't ask for a better english/media teacher. He's tough but definately knows what he's talking about, and is always ready to go the extra bit to help you.
