B O R I N G
Incredible, incredible. Best teacher ever. Doesn't fool about, which is essential. Glad to be taught by her.
I think that she's the best teacher in the school. She's immensely knowledgeable of Theatre, but also very wise and counselling in PSHE. Motivational - actually made drama essays interesting (sounds impossible, I know)! Down to earth as well - doesn't stand for any nonsense, which is what you need in a drama class. She explains all aspects of the exam very clearly (I'm doing GCSE drama, in 11E, exam is in Summer 2015) and also has a laugh with the class.
It's been a privilege.
Fantastic teacher. Has a laugh but demands high standards in the classroom. No fool.
Drama is'nt a subject- especially when she's teaching it. Possibly less patronising than Ms Fooks if that is actually possible...
Top teacher- one of the most approacable, got us top marks in practical exam, bit of a slave driver at times
One of the most dedicated teachers at the school. She cares about us as people- unlike some- and gives loads of her own time. Great support in practical work. Knows her stuff.
She is the best Drama teacher at the school, however she tends to be a little repetitive and she can go to the point where she becomes patronising. For the most part, however, she teaches well and makes Drama lessons interesting. I am not a Drama kind of person yet I enjoy the lessons.
Great dedication to her class and goes out of her way to clarify information. incredibly makes Stanislavski interesting as well.
A great support for the practical exam, gave loads of her own time and as a result, we all got top marks. Cheers!
You CANNOT choose a favourite drama teacher; they are all so different, funny and amazing! DRAMA IS KING! Capon is no exeption to the drama spirit =D
As funny as "Hedda Gabler". As thrilling as "Anansi". As relevant as "The Oresteia". I preferred that PGCE student girl we had last academic year: get her back instead. I enjoyed her stint on "EastEnders".
Her mirror could be accused of receiving more attention than the students. Beneath that vain persona lies a teacher who we couldn't do without
She is the best in the depatment. She speaks with relevance. She does not like ANY attention.
Capes is one of THE most hugely helpful people ever when it comes to practical coursework. She is very understanding of personal circumstances if something genuinely prevents you doing a piece of work for the deadline. Lessons are a good laugh, and there's never a dull moment on a theatre trip. Doesn't take herself (or anyone else) too seriously, which is brilliant. Very good understanding of what needs to be done in exams (both written and practical) which translates well into good grades for all. Huzzah.
