Mrs Harrison is not only a fantastic teacher, but she is a lovable, sweet and genuine person who really wants the best for everyone in her class that respects her and listens in her classes. She also has a sense of humour. She is very fair and will only shout at you if its warranted! And like other comments have already mentioned, she has spectacular hearing! She's a harsh marker, but I suppose that will be useful when it comes to sitting our GCSE's. And her markings are final- no negotiations!
Had Mrs H all through school - in the early years I remember thinking she was horrible and mean, until one day I burst into tears in her lesson. She was amazing and really understanding, I think she totally misread how I was as a student. After that (this was around year8/9) I carried Chemistry on all the way through to A-level, evening having her as a form tutor. She knows her stuff and is a great teacher. Now doing my PhD in a Chem related subject, still use the things she taught me!!
Mrs Harrison is a bit of an oddball, but please, 'don't go into terminal decline' over that. She appears quite harsh/stern/intimidating but in actuality she's very sweet when it comes down to the grunt of it. She's good fun, very endearing and a fantastically effective teacher as long as you are polite and respectful, and you listen. Thank you very much Mrs H for getting me through my Chemistry GCSE :D
any help needed was always given. kind, friendly, helpful and generally a great teacher. also always knows everything there is to know about any subject. helped me so much through sixth form!
I quote - "I'm not here to answer your questions..." Enough said. I sometimes questioned whether she knew what she was alking about at A-Level.
Shouts rather too much though is generally a good teacher.
