I loved "Jimbo", as did everyone who had him as a Maths teacher in my era (80s). He's the reason I finally understood things!

An extremely dedicated and passionate teacher. Completely loved his subject and his school. Will always remember my sixth form years and the fun we had in his further maths class.

One has to be fair, and praise Mr Fry as a commited and euthasistc part of the school! His downfall is his inability to be subjective when it came to his relationships with pupils.

Can't understand all these complaints. I guess these comments are from current pupils. When you leave school hopefully you'll realise he was a nice guy and a good teacher!

he is okay, he just works thru examples on the board, making details up as he goes - v. hard to follow. Is willing to help in his own time.
