First class 'packs' makes textbooks almost unnecessary.
Incredible teacher. Unbelievable!
Good teacher always helpful nice bloke as well
Very good teacher
What an absolute don, watch a film like every week. Go Mr Barrie!
Mr Barrie is a good friendly teacher. Ridley are the best.
AMAZING HOW COULD ANYONE NOT LIKE THIS OUTSTANDING TEACHER HE IS SO COOL ASND AWESOME. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? GO MR BARRIE!
Overall great guy and a good teacher. Can tell he is very dedicated to his job, always happy to help if you need the help.
LAD. What an absolute hero, best Head of House period.
lad and brilliant teacher, makes me constantly wish i'd taken History A level hope he stays at AGS as long as possible.
What can you say about Joelse' he is pure class, his history analogies are out of this world. His footballing managing skills are incredible, ( shame his team talks take as long as the actual game BAZ
Brilliant history teacher and head of house, commands respect, controls the class while also being layed back. Gr8 to talk to about football as well
good teacher, has taught me loads. Starting to be less repetative now he is dropping down his daily intake of caffeine. Never given us one of those pointless tests which last 5 mins :)
He may well be a larf and a good bloke but omg he cant teach to save his life!
mr bazzer is a leg. he nava reali tells u off and you can get away wit any thing. his lessons are sometimes abit boring, so u can just go to sleep . lol
LEGEND is barries middle name. he really does teach well and knows a lot not required for the syllabus. it is true that he likes to recap entire lessons but it makes it stick in your head
I joined AGS at the same time as Joel, him being my first form tutor in Denson 8 (10 years ago now!). His history lessons weren't that structured to start... but he grew up quickly and he and Miss Venning now have a killer history team so i hear - certainly helped to nurture my appreciation for modern history, but did tend to "recap" previous lessons in their entirity just to remind himself in Modern Warfare...Great guy.
One of the best teachers i've ever had, gave me a full appreciation for history, school sports and made Aylesbury an enjoyable place to go to. Joel helped me significantly in becoming the person that I am today.I would thank him if i saw him in the streets.
Joel is another AGS legend, he taught me history throughout 6th Form and helped me get into Oxford. Much respected and great fun. His enthusiasm and knowledge of history is amazing and his personality made him a favourite at AGS. I always enjoyed his lessons and our History trip to Russia. PAV and JMB are definately the History dream team and if you have those two teaching you A level history, then you can't not get an A if you put the effort in. All teachers should be like him.
This gentleman is an absolute hero. It was a pleasure to be taught by him and play football for him at AGS.
Pure legend. Although he wouldn't be as good without his football analagies
Ha JMB. What a hero. Phenomenal banter, long handouts and comedy lessons. This guys a gem. With a little help from PAV he got me an A 2!!
legend - i didn't know that history was about present football action until i met this guy
Legend, made history fun with all the Wycombe Wanderers analogies
Head of house he is brilliant although he has thrown me on the floor before
