FRIELAY!!!!! Bit difficult to get used to at first (I fell asleep my first five lessons of GCSE) but once you get used to it he is a COMEDY GENIUS and very knowledgeable at teaching history. Bit repetitive but that's how you get the info to go in in history imo
I've been brought up to think of you as legend! and you're living up to it!
He is a great teacher but he does repeat everything about 3 times.
Well you're the only teacher I know of who has their own official fan club. You've got to love the legend that is Friel.
Even if some people think you have a monotone and don't appreciate your sarcasm and sharp sense of humour, I still think you're amazing. I'll miss you loads when I (hopefully) go to uni.
He starts to lose the monotone a little at A Level, and certainly opens up and tells more jokes. You were a legend on the Rome trip and we love you.
apart from the monotone voice this guy ROCKS!!! one of the reasons i took GCSE History and why i wanna take A Level ... woohoo Go Friel Man
He's an alright teacher. Just incredibly boring. And he's so monotone you can't even tell when he says a Joke. He really needs to stop thinking that I HATE history.. I LOVE IT!!!!
He's great at GCSE and gets even better at A Level, absolutely love him. -- Looking forward to Rome 2006, Friel, Snell, Hazelhurst and Brain WOOHOO!!
On behalf of all pupils taking GCSE history in the current year 11 group, i would like to say thankyou
You are an amazing history teacher! Your lessons are great fun i really enjoy my GCSE history lessons!
Simply the BEST- no insult to the other teachers but you cant compete with this!!!
Absolutely brilliant, amazingly funny and I'm REALLY glad you're my History teacher. You rock your socks off, a complete legend=D
well he is really boring and its hard to go to sleep in his lessons.
The man's a HOOT! Has a super-dry sense of humour, a brilliantly refined taste in music and a seeminlgy endless knowledge of all things history! Love 'im!
Quality. This man is a living legend! The reason I take history! Along with Mr Nicholson of course!
Not too boring really, but keeps dropping the ends of his sentences
