legend......especially as house master. "quiet for prayers" which always seemed to involve a prayer for the queen and commonwealth

The funniest most quick-"whittened" teacher - ever! "Dickie" was the man ui that everybody wanted to be taught by. I remember two years of 80 percentages. Says it all in a subject I couldn't stand.

A legend, but you didnt really learn anything in his classes.. i managed to get 30% in my 2nd year exam =\ not good..

This man is what teaching is all about. Dickie Whitten was my class tutor, economics and politics teacher from 1996-1999. At the grand age of 28 i still look bak to he classes as the best ever.
