Whilst terrifying when your not in his class he's a great teacher who really makes you work. I know that if it wasn't for him I'd have failed my A-levels plus he know how much work to set and never gives way to much
Once you get over the fear and hold your own with him, he is a really great guy and an incredibly knowledgable teacher.
He spends 50% of his lessons telling you stories about things like how he bought his wife a slow cooker or how his daughter was passed around a group of nuns. When he actually teaches history he is an outstanding teacher but can be a bit scary and gives quite a bit of homework
Took me 5 years to like the guy but eventually realised that we was a brilliant teacher and a great guy.
Mr Armstrong is a really good teacher! He is very explanatory! He is really funny and makes lessons fun! :)
A brilliant teacher and friendly enough when in a good mood. I've learnt a lot from him but he gives out too much homework. Very scary when angry
Strong man, imposing sometimes. Undoubtedly kept me on my toes and his guidance was priceless, especially in later years.
He ruined History for me. Has a passion for his subject, but forgets to bring the class along with him at times - and bullies them when they get behind or confused! Very heavy on the homework.
always angry and his only hobby is giving out homework for no reason
Hes a really good teacher and is the reason im doin history for GCSE!
He Gives You Work Dats WAYYYYY To Long For The Lesson Then Sets It As Homework. Pointless! [EVERY TIME!]
Best teacher iv ever had, my 3rd year with him and he is class. He would hate to admit it, but he loves his job and he actually cares....
Good teacher who really knows his stuff, although he does bury you under with homework. Has a razor sharp, pull no punches, sense of humour that tends to get directed at anyone who crosses him.
You need to be on his good side, and unfortunately im not, so he its a bit of a skitz! he is fair but the people he doesnt like are in for a bit of misery
Hes changing...For the better...Makes jokes and generally far nicer! :)
absolutely brilliant teacher, i really really respect this guy even though i found him so scary at first. Will listen to and work with/around any problems you have! A*
a really good teacher ,funny ,fair but can be kinda strict
Mr. Armstrong was awesome. I wasn't at Sullivan for very long and had a pretty tough time with personal problems, and without him about I wouldn't have gotten through it and be where I am now.
A real nice guy who can you very hard but will spend a whole period joking and laughing every now and again.
Nice guy. He respects you if you work hard but if you are one of his favourites he expects the absolute maxium you can provide and will work you hard, if you mess about though he WILL bite your head !
He is a great techer but some times he shouts a bit much part from that he is great
hes a gud laugh nd i fab teacher nd i respect him hes been really nice to me caus i'm only a wee firstie lolz
I think he's gr8 but u have 2 get on his gd side. He defenitly has his favourites.
mr A is sooo gr8! he's reali funni nd always has time to help if ure stuck :)
Unbelievably belligerent but I wouldn't have him any other way. If you're interested in the subject and he isn't in the mood for rambling about Championship Manager he's fantastic.
good teacher, just very angry, especially with 1st years
he is fun but always looks angry and he is so clear but ppl dont take him seriously
DA is a sound bloke, a real softy at heart, can be tough as a yearhead but a big teddybear in class! (endless stories and tales.. which pass the time)
Big DA is grand - frightening if you're in first year but if you have him in sixth form he's great. Good teacher, good fun , good results..........
DA is a bit daunting but once you have him as a teacher he's ok. gets the work done and helps you out if you're stuck. just don't make him angry!
Annoying.........very loud shouter and always has to raise his voice.
