Awful. Doesn't teach at all, just tells us which exercises to do in the textbook
Smith is a bit of a difficult one really...he is really good at explaining how to pass an exam, although perhaps a bit too focussed on the exam as opposed to teaching the subject, but that's just my opinion. He isn't really the most interesting of chaps...I think that if he could crack the odd joke or tell a short anicdote, he may get more out of his students.
obsessed with setting hours of pointless homework. Then cant be bothered to mark it for about 7 months by which time there is no point. Never explains anything in language you can understand and if you do badly he instantly claims its your fault for not listening to him! He shows you needlessly complicated methods which just confuse everyone and rarely keeps on the topic- prefering instead to talk about his childhood. Has little control- its more people's utter boredom that makes them be quiet not him. poor
If you are willing to learn, then he will explain things clearly, if you arent willing to learn, he wont. Thats fair enough.
Mr. Smith rules with an iron rod but once you get to know him the other side of the rod is actually pink and fluffy. He is a great tryer and will always be happy to help anyone in the class regardless of their mathmetical skills. He uses some useful phrases to help learn maths and will always show you a more simple and easy way to do the problems that you face. As long as you do not oppose o obtruct his teaching he is truly goliath of the teaching world
I don't know what you're all on about! Mr. Smith's a decent teacher. I bet the people who commented negatively were in year 7-9, when you never learn anything in Maths, regardless of teacher. And definitely not dull. 7/04/06 has it exactly right.
I think he might be one of the most boring teachers in the universe
He sets ridiculous amounts of homework, cannot explain difficult things (like coursework) and uses phrases like - fractions are your friends - *sigh*
Made maths fun. brilliant teacher. beats the rest with both of his immense hands tied behind his back
Truly Brilliant, this guy can teach anyone. Can command respect withouth any threats. Superb
