What a legend. It was a shame to see him leave. Always made a great day when Blanchie Lad would walk into that assembly hall! Wish he never left

Brilliant guy, have worked closely with senior management recently and he's a fantastic man. He really knows his school and is so easy to get along with.

It's not enforcing rules that's his problem, it's the rules that he tries to enforce in the first place! This man needs to get his act together and stick to one route!

he is more popular with parents than pupils but I guess he has done a lot for the school but some of the school rules need to be a bit more relaxed It's a school not a prison but thanks for doing good

Mr Blanchflower is a fantastic head teacher. I think he has wonderful principals and has worked wonders for Dunfermline High. Best Rector ever!!!

i really hate the changes brian blanchflower has made to the school, ken mcginley was much better, we have to go to school when its snowing, no icy, strict uniform rules, not aloud near front of scool

i think everything he has came up with is great! im just going into 6th year, and i wish i was staying longer to see what else he can impress me with! i love the uniform idea, tartan kilts please! =]

Great rector. All his intentions are completely for our own good and he puts so much effort into making the school a better place. Also considers pupils points of view which is always a plus!

He cracks the occasional joke in assembly which is always nice to break the boredom. Also, its what the schools been needing. Sure some of the rules are a little more of a hinderance, but he has good intentions...right?
