I was taught by him for 6 years and the first four were amazing. He instantly became my favourite teacher and as I genuinely loved the subject, his classes were a joy. Phenomenal teaching techniques. However Brendan doesn’t always realise why students aren’t studying hours and hours every night, he doesn’t realise that some people have a lot of problems. If you don’t understand something, after asking once and still not getting it you may give up. He is a great teacher and a unique personality.
Absolute and complete legend with the best jokes in the whole country. Im starting a cult called the Church of Rasdale and his jokebook will be the sacred texts.
my 2nd favorite teacher in st.micks absolute legend
Brilliant teacher that’s all I can say
Great techer great personality. Really connective with students
Absolutely brilliant! Good craic and terrible jokes. He helps anyone who asks him for help and really makes sure you learn your stuff.
Simply the best
His wittiness and warm nature make his room an inviting place. He treats all of his pupils with respect equally and is shown the same in return. Places his students' best interests above all else. Excellently bad jokes from an excellent teacher and friend. It's a hambush!
Not a bad lad desite being from Derrygonnelly
Good teacher. Bad jokes. Works hard for students. Should not engage with idiots so much. His GCSE grades are unbelievably good. Never in a bad mood.
Definitely one of the best in St Micks. Friendly to absolutely everyone!
Briliant!! Got me 1 of my top mrks dis yr. @GCSE. It pains me to giv up germn, but wat i miss da most is da humour!!
awesome teacher.helped me out loads. Thank you Brendan - Mark Stevenson
brendan taught me german and english in st marys, i thought he was a fasntastic teacher - he made everyone feel comfortable and really made us enjoy learning. i never knew him to alienate anyone.
Should take a page out of Claire Donnelly's book, ''no sir we don't know how to form that tense because all you did was talk about it for a few min and then give us work to do''. We NEED notes!
I was taught by this man for quite a few years during his stint/sentence in Belfast. Easy-going...yes, alienating...never. I wish him all the best for the future
