Mr Barley is a very witty and knowledgeable teacher. He teaches in a style unique to a lot of the other teachers within the school, and has a sense of humor you can only laugh with. Has helped me learn my GCSE chemistry course, and all be it he is somewhat cryptic particularly in experiment method, he is definitely the best chemistry teacher in the school. The math are lucky to have him Favorite quote - "Your death will be fairly insignificant, to the world at least"

Mr Barley was by far my favorite teacher of all time!. He was very good at getting the most from you, teasing intelligence out of you and making you adapt to the pressure he put on you :D. Oh and of course the World Presentations. If you're reading this Mark, thanks for the excellent job you did!

He's an absolute legend. There's nothing to do with Chem he doesn't know, and he's one of the funniest teachers in the school. I quote him: 'I once spilled acid all over my hand, but... I am immune.'
