Did not take Economics so cannot comment on his teaching, but heard good things about him from others who did. In the 70's, he was an influential and well-regarded swimming coach to those of us on the swim team. Was particularly understanding and helpful after a spell of persistent truancy (didn't much like school back then). His kindness and support have influenced me in dealing with 'unhappy' students who cut classes and flunk courses. I wish him well–and a happy retirement.
One of the few good teachers at the school. I had him in '83-'85. Hope he's doing well. I'd like to buy him a pint or four. JM
Top Bloke, A real human being, Someone you could actually talk to. Had him for maths and ecconomics till 87. I hope he's doing well. M M
very decent man. combined his passion for teaching us economics with his determination to prevent us playing too much darts. James.
