She's a good teacher when you are trying to do your work but sometimes she shouts but it's understandable why she shouts
One prime example of the unfairness of this teacher's marking is a peice of homework I had received on personification, rather than describe an animal as a person I had misunderstood and spent a great deal of effort describing it the other way around. This had earned me detention. Very minimal support from this teacher and too much discipline.
Could be nice but was strict. Marked coursework too harshly unlike other English teachers. Wouldn't mark work properly and would just write 'NO' next to work.
Ms Reid was absolutely fantastic. She encouraged students to have their own views and opinions on texts which she has taught for years, and readily accepted interpretations which she had never before considered. She produced a brilliant working and collaborative atmosphere in class, through which everyone could submit views without feeling judged by their peers - and this is rare at this level of schooling. She gave me a real passion for the subject, and seemed to have one herself.
Didn't like her, only cares about her own opinions, marks harshly which is unfair in coursework because other teachers would make work higher, not nice
lies and treats us like children but expects results of adults
