Recently heard the school has gone downhill so was checking up on it, I had this guy as a physics teacher in the mid nineties and he was a God among teachers then when he was at the start of his career, really happy to hear he's still just as good now.

He's a bloody lad. Best teacher at marlwood school (and a very valuable one) - so smart and so helpful (especially for the harder topics of gcse and a level I have found) I will miss him very much when I leave <3

If i regret anything about leaving marlwood, it's leavng Stoddart! Such a good teacher, even when it had nothing to do with physics! Though could've gone without the lecture on self respect!

After leaving Marlwood I think Mr Stoddart is the teacher I'll remember the best. He never did get me into detention, no matter how hard he tried. That's dedication for you.

Actually probably the best teacher that I've ever had. Can be a bit scary at first but it doesn't take long for it to get funny. Manages to make phsics fun, I always look forward to his lessons.

One of the best teachers I have encountered. Although left school a few years ago I remember his lessons clearly. He is enthusiastic and managed to make physics fun!

Caught him in first year or two of teaching I think, seemed a bit flustered at times as a result I seem to remember. However he's was a fantastic teacher, mainly because he enthuses you with the subject to the point where I spent three extra years studying it, if only there were professors like him i might still be doing it for a job.

Makes lessons interesting and humerous. Very good teacher who is truely aproachable and cares about students. Has no problems with disipline and sorting the occasional "numpty!"

Brilliant teacher, best at teaching A-level, highly enjoyable lessons even if the entire year goes with only a handful of practicals (usually assessed). Really helpful, provides lots of worksheets...
