Good teacher overall. Methods are a little old school and may not suit everyone but he is very knowledgable in his subject. He also was a very good head of Sixth Form. Strict and serious but very fair and treated students like adults.

He is the best maths teacher I've ever had his style is a little old fashioned but it works amazingly, if it weren't for him I don't believe I would have gotten my C grade at GCSE.

The best teacher I have ever had, hands down. I used a text book with him once in the whole 5 years of his tuition. He was my head of Sixth Form and I couldn't fault him at all. Some may say he was short tempered and intimidating but he gave as good as he got. He was dedicated to his job and even made dvd's for us free of charge in preparation for exams. The guy is a credit to the school!

Superb teacher. Taught me A Level maths in 1998 and those lessons got me through my degree maths modules. Really cares about his job and has had a lasting influence on me. A real pleasure and privilege to learn from.

I had him years ago! Was a fierce-some form tutor. Does he still do the 'if a bloke in a pub said that to me, i'd jump down his throat' speech|?! He was a great maths teacher though.
