Had him 20 years ago and hasn't changed much judging by the reviews. Good, witty and knowledgeable, but still seems to get off on throwing his authority around - seemingly any excuse to shout when he's in a bad mood.
not very popular shouts and moans but really is quite funny
This is who teachers should aspire to be. I didn't even take History and was only in his class 3 years later. Upon leaving school he even lined up a job for me which I stupidly declined. Top Bloke!
He's a really nice guy, talks to the pupils but does'nt intimidate them
Encouraged you to to reach your full potential. Very helpful and his stories were fab. Truely inspirational. The reason I became a history teacher.
Good teacher in class. Helpful and friendly. But is introducing new things the to school such as blazers, which aren't necessary and are very ugly.

I got Mr Gerrie when he first started at Eastbank in 1990, and he's a strict teacher and demands the very best but is never anything but entertaining. Just rememeber to "answer the bloody question!!"
I had Mr Gerrie for History SG and higher way back in 1999-2001! thought he was an amazing teacher, he has a knack of making the laziest sods work! I still use the life advice he gave our class today
