Only get to see him on your first and last days of school. He is the Dumbledore of the North East. God bless that man. Chedders OBE
I think he is nice. Never see him around much but that is because he is running the school and doing a good job of it too!
His son is in my tutor, systems and english class. I see him in the corridors at break. He seems like a nice guy. Great head teacher, i think he great at choosing staff for the school coz all the teachers i've had are fantastic!
Nice Guy, Talked to him once, but that was because I was involved in something to represent the school so i gave him a reason to talk to me, as the head i suspect he is busy.he isnt just going to randomly talk to people in the corridoors. Ive left the school now but if someone was to ask me what i thought of the him then id say a really nice guy :)
i think he funny hes never really spoken to me apart from when he said " put that snow ball down and get to your lesson " but aprt from that mc chedderz is class
Was deputy when I was there. Fantastic! Spot on with discipline. Approachable and pleasant to pupils who worked hard. He was loathed and detested by the time wasters and those who messed on.
im only new at whitley but even i can tell tht he probs hasnt spoken to any1 cos he never smiles nd is silent all the time lol but other thn tht he is probs doing a gd job for the school so thts gd!
If there is vistors or camera's bout he is out of the office in a flash and pretends he knows loads bout the skool. Olny spoken 2 him once and that was cause there was vistors and he wanted 2 look gd
Does this man actually exist? Or is he merely a myth made up to scare truant students....
i think ive seen him ones or twice and ive been at the school comeing up 2 2years!
im at uni now bt i never spoke to the bloke, but i agree, if i were him i wudn't wanna talk to the "kidz" there, not the ones there now anyway..
I like chedburn, had many fireside chats with the fellow. His non-interventionalist approach to school discipline however has dissatisfied student and staff alike. But look at the league tables.
Never see him out of his office unless he is making a DVD to promote the school or if he is going to appear on TV, you can't get rid of him if theres a camara on site other wise he lives in his office
I agree he does a lot for the school. But socially, he does not interact with students, which is vital to be a good head. He is more a manager than a headteacher.
He is a good head, knows what he's doing. Doesn't talk to students face to face much, but he's just busy that's all
very helpful, strives and does lots or the school, he doesn't speak to many kids but tha is because is busy
Not much contact with pupils at all, but I feel the school has drasticly improved 5 years. New staff seem v well appointed & suited. He needs to talk to pupils!
yer i think he's a good head - he might not have much contact with the kids, but there is over 1000 of us!
