Just what the school needed, a refreshing change. He has had a difficult job.
It is obvious that patel wanted to put his mark on the school and make it is own. In some aspects i think the changes he made were good but in other areas of the school he changed for the worse and thats when people disliked him. However i have always thought it was good how 'his door was always open' and how he wondered round the school and interacted with the children, unlike storey who was never seen. He should have took over from storey without making changes, as the school was oustanding!
Ignorant, disrespectful and not interested in interacting with parents nor staff. Must be removed.
I think he had forgot about the pupils and the fact that it was a school as all he seemed interested in was facts and figures and how big his budget was. The school would be a better place without him !!!!!!!!!
I have 2 daughters who have attended Hayfield school, I was very happy there..One has left, last year there was no keeping her there under Patel. My other is in yr 9. No end of problems..The school has gone down hill rapidly in the recent years since he took over. I have a son with autism going up to secondary school next year and have been strongly advised to avoid hayfield by several authorities as he will not get the support under Patel.. disgusting.. I'm glad he has gone.
