Apr 03, 2012 It is obvious that patel wanted to put his mark on the school and make it is own. In some aspects i think the changes he made were good but in other areas of the school he changed for the worse and thats when people disliked him. However i have always thought it was good how 'his door was always open' and how he wondered round the school and interacted with the children, unlike storey who was never seen. He should have took over from storey without making changes, as the school was oustanding! Flag Rating

Mar 26, 2012 I think he had forgot about the pupils and the fact that it was a school as all he seemed interested in was facts and figures and how big his budget was. The school would be a better place without him !!!!!!!!! Flag Rating

Mar 17, 2012 I find Dr Patel an arrogant individual. I have yet to speak to anyone ( pupil, parent or ex teachers) who have a positive word to say about him. He may have maintained good grades over the past 3 years ( how much of that is actually down to him and how much is down to the hard work of both the students and teachers is disputeable) but he has made The Hayfield School into a much less enjoyable place to learn. Mar 16, 2012 I for one think that Sai Patel is doing a great job with the school. The work he has done and the changes he has made, has meant that results have improved consistently year on year. I think that it will be a real shame for the kids if Sai leaves. I hope that whatever is going on behind the scenes (which I won't speculate about or listen to rumours) it all gets sorted out and the school can regain their focus on what is important - educating our children! Mar 16, 2012 My daughter goes to Hayfield. Nobody at the school has a good word for him. He is apparantly only there for his own benefit and is bringing the school down. My daughter has just brought a letter home saying that Dr Patel is currently absent from school - suspended. Hopefully this will be made permenant and the school can regain its former glory. Oct 06, 2011 My time at hayfield since Mr Storey left has been miserable and depressing. I would never advise the school to anyone as all that matters to this Dr Patel is OFSTED and the results and not the childre Flag Rating

Jun 29, 2011 Anyone who says he's good at his job must be delusional or sucking up. I really wish some of the younger pupils could have experienced the 'Tony Storey' Hayfield School and how much different it was Flag Rating
