Very good and intelligent person, he teaches well. Many people say that he is dull, boring and cannot teach, but if you actually listen to what says during the lesson, you will not have any difficulty doing prep, exam or whatever.

After 2 years of GCSEs with Peter Brough, i can honestly say that he is not a very good teacher. He often lacks enthusiasm and sympathy with his students (especially the less gifted ones). He never uses the text book and relies on his 'old timey' "handouts" which he doesn't explain. After going through a lesson of him messing up an experiment and using his good old excuse "It was working at lunch time", he expects us to do a prep on it (set in the double due in the single).

Well, where do I start? He never uses the textbook, he doesn't let you take notes, he does not give you help when you ask or when you don't understand something, he never goes though the formulae in the lesson so we know how to do the prep and I always have to ask my parents for help with the homework and everyone in my class does the same. There is really no point in turning up to his lessons when you could just get the formulae off of the internet.
