"If you can't run 100 metres at sports day, you'll never succeed"
Help and good knowledge of rugby
"Your the reason England doesn't have a football team, because YOU didn't make it to club level."
Ok Sir. We care.
Safe. Enjoys a laugh and joke, popular with staff and seems a good bloke.
It was 1993 where the A-Level leavers traditionally play football against the teachers as a challenge game which we all looked forward to, (incidently if this leaving year had been allowed to play football during this time I honestly think we could have been the best footballing school/year in Manchester - probably further afield). We won 1-0 much to the teachers disguised frustration (especially Nigel Handy!) - it was a great game where for me Mr Lindsay was Man of The Match "play it to feet!"
you will be a window cleaner living with your mum if you don't behave
he will claim our success when he only watches us in the final
sometimes was a bit of a difficult teacher, but also was good other times
not bad, always wants us to accept him... wont happen, but funny. And pretty laid back.
Were only making plans for nigel. We only want whats best for him.
doesnt actually do anything at all in games or pe just shouts commands and has a go if it isnt good enough
greatest moment where he tried to "show" the perfect catch but dropped it, or better than that when he took a softball square in the chops, classic!
doesn't actually know anything about any sport except rugby, favours those in the rugby team
will be unhappy about getting beat by the old boys (14-11)
Mr Handy expects a lot, yet doesnt actually teach he just puts slideshows on and sits there getting us to copy it down
